Over time, breasts can drop and lose its natural shape due to breast feeding, aging and/or even gravity. Mastopexy is a surgery that lifts and re-shapes breasts and nipples to its original state. If nipples are not facing down and are still facing outwards, placing silicons and simply lifting the breasts will be enough to have perfect breasts. However, if the nipples are facing down, Mastopexy surgery is recommended to achieve best results. This is because the silicon will not ensure that nipples are placed in the right area of the breast leading to a mismatched result.
How is the surgery performed?
Breast lift and silicon enhancement surgery will be performed in the one operation. If the breasts are too large, the breast may require a breast reduction procedure. The operation will be under general anesthetic and results may vary depending on the operations performed.
How long does surgery take?
The operation varies for different patients and concerns. However, the general operation duration can take up to 2 hours
